Meet The Team

The Athletic Department announces Meet The Team Night. Everyone is invited to come on out Mon. Nov. 16th at 6:00pm to meet the basketball, bowling and wrestling teams as well as the coaching staffs in the gym. Please come join us! We will also have the band, cheerleaders and the Athletic Booster Club will be selling hotdogs, chips and a drink all for the low price of $1.00. We hope to see you there!

Stebbins Head Coach Don Brown has announced try-outs for the varsity 2009/10 JV and Varsity Bowling Teams! Try-out for boys and girls will be held on Mon. Nov. 16th and Wed. Nov. 18th at Pla-Mor Lanes. Try-outs will begin at 3:30 and last until 5:15pm. The teams will be selected on Nov. 18th following practice. You should bring your own equipment, but if you don't own your own, bowling balls anf shoes will be provided. These is no charge to try-out! Sports Shorts - Men's Basketball

  Head Coach Jeremey Finn announces open gym. Coach Finn is having open gym for students interested in playing basketball this year. The open gym will be taking place from 5:00pm - 6:30pm on Mon./Tue. and Thu. during the last week of October. The following week except Fri. the 6th of Nov. Open gym will be from 6:30pm -8:00pm
  Tryouts will be held on Friday Nov. 6th and Saturday Nov. 7th. The times are as follows: 
Juniors/Seniors - Fri. 11/6 6:30pm-8:30pm
                              Sat. 11/7 10:00am-12:00 and 2:00pm-4:00pm
Freshman/Soph. - Fri. 11/6 5:00pm-7:00pm in the SAC(Student Activities Center)
                          Sat. 11/7 10:00-12:00 and 2:00pm-4:00pm in the SAC
 
 Teams will be determined after try-outs and players will meet individually with the coaching staff at that time. To participate in try-outs, you must have a current physical on file with the athletic office and you must be eligible acedemically.
 Also, all players are encouraged to not purchase new basketball shoes before the start of the season. We will be having an official Nike Team shoe for all grades at a discounted cost of $60.00. Please stay tuned for future updates.

PHYSICALS - Northeast Family Practice located at 6255 Chambersburg Rd is taking appointments for high school physicals for free. To schedule an appointment call 937-233-7141 and ask for Dr. Terri Wilkerson Riddiford who is board certified in sports medicine.

Central Buckeye Conference Directions

BELLEFONTAINE: Take Route 4 North to I-70 East. Stay on I-70 to Route 4 North(Springfield). Continue on Route 4 until you get to Route 68(Urbana) exit staying in right lane.  Stay on route 68 until you get to downtown Bellfontaine. Turn right on E Lake Rd. The school is located on the left just past the Logan County Fairgrounds.

BEN LOGAN: Take Route 4 North to I-70 East. Stay on I-70 to Route 4 North(Springfield). Continue on Route 4 until you get to Route 68(Urbana) exit staying in right lane.  Stay on route 68 until you get to downtown Bellfontaine. Follow Route 68 and turn right on Route 47 east. The school will be located approx. 7 miles on the left.

GRAHAM: State Route 4 north crossing over I-70. Route 4 now becomes State Route 235. Turn right on State Route 36. You will go through the town of St. Paris passing the middle school on your left. Continue for a couple of miles or so and the high school will be on the left.

GREENON: I-675 to State Route 444 east or right. Stay on SR444 going through the town of Enon. Turn right on S Tecumseh Rd. If you cross over I-70 you went too far. The school will be located a few miles on the right.

INDIAN LAKE: State Route 4 north crossing over I-70. Route 4 now becomes State Route 235. Stay on SR 235 for about 45 miles or so. You will go through the town of DeGraff. Continue on SR 235 for approx. 5 miles to the corner of State Route 274 and State route 235. The school will be located on the right.

SPRINGFIELD KENTON RIDGE: State Route 4 north to I-70 East to SR 4(Springfield Exit). Stay on SR 4 to State Route 68(Urbana Exit). Go north on SR68 to State Route 334. Stay on SR 334 to left on Middle Urbana Rd. The school is located about 1/2 mile on the right.

SPRINGFIELD NORTHWESTERN: State Route 4 north crossing over I-70. Route 4 now becomes State Route 235. Stay on SR 235 going through New Carlisle and turn right on State Route 41. You will go through the town of North Hampton(watch out for the speed trap as you enter the town). The school will be located about a mile or so out of town on the left.

SPRINGFIELD SHAWNEE: State Route 4 north to I-70 East. Stay on I-70 to State Route 72. Turn left off of the exit ramp and then turn left on E. Possum Rd. The school will be located approx. 2 miles on the right.

TECUMSEH: Route 4 north crossing over I-70. Route 4 now becomes SR 235. Stay on SR 235 going through Park Layne and turn right on State Route 40. The school will be located a few miles on your left a mile or so past State Route 571.

TIPP CITY: BASKETBALL, BASEBALL, SOFTBALL, TRACK,VOLLEYBALL - I-75 north to County Road 25A, Exit 69. Turn right on CR 25A and then make a right on Donn Davis WY, left on E Kessler-Cowlesville Rd. The school will be located on the left. FOOTBALL, SOCCER - State Route 202 north past State Route 571, 1 mile to left on Tipp-Elizabeth Rd. Turn right at the flashing yellow traffic light which is located just after crossing over the river.

URBANA: Take Route 4 North to I-70 East. Stay on I-70 to Route 4 North(Springfield). Continue on Route 4 until you get to Route 68(Urbana) exit staying in right lane. Stay on route 68 until you get to downtown Urbana. (FOOTBALL, SOCCER AND BASKETBALL)Go through the downtown area for a couple of blocks and turn right on Washington Ave. The school will be located a few blocks down on the left. FRESHMAN FOOTBALL,BASEBALL,SOFTBALL,TRACK. Use the same directions as above except turn right on Boyce St which is a few blocks PAST Washington St. turning before you get to the railroad tracks. The road dead ends into Boyce St Park on the right.

PLEASE NOTE:
The next Athletic Booster Club meeting will be Dec. 2nd in the Seniors lunch room at 7:00. Booster club meetings are held the last Wed. of the month except for the months of Nov., Dec., Jun. and July. All athletic students' parents are welcome to attend! For more information contact President Michael Fox @ 937-236-7066.

 The Booster club is selling red Stebbins jackets, with all proceeds going to the Athletic Booster Club. These jackets have the Stebbins lettter S on the right upper portion of the jacket and is made of a 100% nylon shell with a 100% polyester lining.
 Very comfortable, comes with a hood and a zipper down the front. We have various sizes available. Sizes range from Adult Small all the way up to a XXXXL and are priced from $40.00 to $42.00 for the larger sizes. Jackets will be sold at the home mens basketball games at the Varsity S store located on the vistors side, upper level of the gymnasium.
  Or you may contact the booster club president for your jacket as well.
